During the past 7 years there have been only six rod failures due to manufacturing or field defects while the company has produced and shipped over 1,765,000 rods. This is a failure rate of less than 3.4 failures per million. |

UPCO, Inc.'s products are manufactured in accordance with the following quality certifications:
Provided in 5/8 through 1 1/8" diameters in 25 and 30' lengths. Pony Rods Available in all sucker rod grades to provide a complete, compatible rod string in 2 through 12' lengths. Polished Rods Centerless ground for consistent finish and diameter, polished rods are available as micro alloy steel or spray metal coated. Other special alloy steels are available, including 4140 and stainless steel. Provided in diameters of 1 1/8 through 1 3/4" with lengths from 8 to 40'. Sucker Rods & Polished Rod Couplings Box by box API type T or spray metal couplings available in pin sizes 5/8 through 1 1/8" in full size or slim hole diameters. Subcouplings are available for connecting polished rods or tapered rod strings. Pup Joints Seamless J-55 or N-80, Type 1 grade hydrostatically tested, API monogrammed pup joints are available in 2 3/8, 2 7/8 and 3 1/2" diameters in lengths from 2 to 12' N-80 grade pup joints are full length normalized. Sinker Bars Sinker bars with elevator necks and wrench flats are available in 1 1/4 through 2" diameters in 20 and 25' lengths. UPCO Inc. provides Grade 1 bars with AISI 1045M and Grade 2 bars with 4140M or 4620M material. |
