UPCO Rod Lube is a specially formulated, high performance lubricant designed specifically for make-up and breakout of sucker rod connections. It contains corrosion inhibitors and molybdenum disulfide to protect against thread galling, seizing, and wear. UPCO Rod Lube is smooth with no fillers.

Application Instructions

A quart of UPCO Rod Lube will lubricate approximately 500 sucker rod pins. The applicator assists in prevention of contaminants. Apply a small bead of UPCO Rod Lube to the pin threads. The rod shoulder and coupling face should remain dry. Do not dilute.
