UPCO, Inc. has achieved a Sigma Six level of quality in regard to field failures. During the past 7 years there have been only six rod failures due to manufacturing or field defects while the company has produced and shipped over 1,765,000 rods. This is a failure rate of less than 3.4 failures per million.

UPCO, Inc. is not attempting to be the largest sucker rod manufacturer, but everyone of our employees is committed to making us the best. Continuous improvement has become a way of life for us. We track our forging die life to provide consistent forgings. We monitor our forging temperatures to prevent microstructure problems in our finished rods. Our heat treat furnaces are inspected and adjusted to insure consistent and adequate normalizing and tempering. Our new end-finish machines are serviced daily to insure accurate machined surfaces and threads. Add our distributors' service and you are getting the BEST!
